A litte new one that never was blogged…..the holidays were crazy and I am literally still sending out invoices. He was absolutely perfect the entire time…..and I think he was just less than a week old.

Check out Beau and his hat. LOVE when mom gets creative with wardrobe and cute accessories. These kiddos were stunning…and as I say that, they were the absolute sweetest kids too. Because, even stunning is no fun if the kiddos are difficult. These two were easy breezy…and I instantly liked their mom too… Meeting new families and seeing them just about everywhere(no, I am not stalking you….he he)!!! Manhattan Beach is such a small town, you can pretty much walk anywhere and on that little walk, you are guaranteed to see a friend or two. Which I love.

I met this family in Palos Verdes at the Malaga Cove Library…a place that I shoot at….lets just say alot. I know it may not offer a ton of variety for my blog, but the area is so beautiful, safe for the kids and they enjoy it! There is a beautiful fountain, steps to climb and the light through the trees is just my favorite…especially in the morning. And really it’s all about the people anyhow….right?

And seriously….the tie….LOVE IT!!!

Olivia is the bean behind Little Sugar Bean…a darling party store on etsy that has everything you need for your next event…whether it’s for your child’s birthday or hosting friends….check it out! She is also one of the cutest little girls around! And sweet. And her laugh will make you laugh. She sang twinkle twinkle little star to me and I may just upgrade my blog so I can add video. It’s that cute!!! I’m still catching up from the Holidays….may never completely happen…but maybe one a day for the next few weeks???

Oh So Silly ~ I Heart Faces Photo Contest

This week I went with a very recent favorite of one of the silliest little guys I know….the son of a dear friend of mine. He is one of my daughters little bff’s in kindergarten and the sweetest kid in town. We went to Santa Barbara a few weeks ago and found a butterfly habitat nearby….there was a lady who could coax a butterfly onto your nose….I skipped that and just took a few photos. I’m definitely looking forward to other silly photos on I Heart Faces this week.

I just can’t get enough of this little guy….so chubby and full of smiles…..and since he belongs to a dear friend of mine, I am thrilled to be able to see him often. 4 months – 1 year is one of my favorites ages to photograph….yummy toothless smiles!!!

As a parent, when your child starts to read, all of a sudden they almost are no longer little. And she is my youngest….of only 2 children, but still the youngest. I was listening to her read one of her Pinkalicious books during her quiet time and snuck downstairs super quietly to get my camera…tip toed back upstairs with my 70-200 lens and got a shot of her…and then a video so I could hear her words. My youngest is no longer little. But to hear her sweet voice read a book is really awesome too. There will certainly be lots of other cute readers over on www.iheartfaces.com this week.

Finally getting around to getting some sessions on the blog!!! The holiday were crazy this year with photo session and I sometimes don’t know what people will do with their holiday card….so I don’t like to post too many pictures and spoil the fun!

LOVE Baby Mac….so easy to photograph! I met him when he was just 8 days old and it was one of my favorite newborn sessions…easiest baby ever. And still is. Striking blue eyes and cute little expressions…. We had a great day at the beach, loved those sunny December days!
